Reflection after the Earthquake

On the l2 May, 2008, just before the Beijing Olympic Games, a disastrous event happened in Sichuan, China---the Earthquake. The disaster has passed, and apart from mourning for the death and encouraging the alive, what else can we do to help?    Actually, this earthquake knocked a sound alarm to our government as well as each Chinese.

We can see in the television or on the internet that not many buildings survived the incident, especially teaching buildings. One explanation may be the construction of the building is not reliable. Therefore, our government should pay more attention on the designation of new buildings to be rebuilt. Besides, the natural disaster may somehow be regarded as a special way in which our nature communicates with human beings. We have to reflect on what we have done do our environment. It is high time that we controlled our lust to abuse the natural resources.

After the earthquake, many healthy men became disabled, and many children suffered the great sorrow of losing their beloved parents. How to comfort them besides giving some financial aids? And shouldn't we focus more about psychological inference? Shouldn't we arrange some lessons which work on the escaping skills when emergency happens? In deed, a lot to think about!
